What an event! Last night, over 200 raucous trivia lovers packed The Bell House in Gowanus, Brooklyn for our final public trivia night of the year: Pat Kiernan’s Polar Cortex, a winter-themed pop culture contest!
After taking the stage to “Let It Go,” Pat announced multiple theme-appropriate trivia rounds such as “Winter Movies/Scenes” & “Winter Sports/Activities/Events.” Several lucky raffle winners got to join Pat onstage for 1-on-1 “mini game” bouts including “Cold Weather TV,” “Frozen Fails,” “Wintertime in NYC” and the ever-popular song-lyrics-in-deadpan round – however, the highlight of the evening was a surprise air hockey bout between Pat and NY1 general assignment reporter Roger Clark, with fellow NY1 personality Josh Robin providing play-by-play!
