TrivWorks Announces New Bell House Trivia Event

New York, New York– TrivWorks, an experiential marketing firm in NYC is partnering with the Broadway smash hit Sister Act the Musical to provide a night of fun and trivia at the Bell House. The musical is a spin off from the 1992 movie in which Whoopi Goldberg starred as a nightclub singer placed in a convent under protective custody by the police. The original comedy, released by Touchstone Pictures, was followed by Sister Act 2 and a spinoff television series. Sister Act the Musical, enjoying its second season on Broadway, is sponsoring the trivia event at the Bell House.

Described as entertaining and uplifting, the stage adaptation moves the movie from 1990s Reno to 1978 Philadelphia, a perfect backdrop for new numbers with R&B sounds. Whoopi Goldberg plays an integral role in the Broadway production but behind the scenes this time as a producer instead of playing the role of diva turned “nun”. Actress and singer Raven Symone, best known for her comedy series on the Disney Channel and as Olivia on The Cosby Show makes her Broadway debut as the hilariously disruptive lead character who turns the convent inside out with her rollicking music and antics.

Converted from a 1920s warehouse in 2008, the Bell House has become a popular Brooklyn night spot. They have teamed with TrivWorks to provide monthly events dubbed by Time Out New York as New York City’s hottest new trivia nights. The current series features 90s themed trivia nights, such as the recent sellout event The Golden Girls vs. Designing Women.

The evening will include comedy, entertainment and trivia games with some lucky fans winning Sister Act prizes including tickets for this hilariously funny musical. Pat Kiernan, NY1 News anchor and former host of VH1s “The World of Pop Culture,” a trivia game show tournament, is a perfect choice to MC the evening. Kiernan has recently joined the TrivWorks team to host premium experiential marketing events.

Pub Trivia is only one of the venues TrivWorks uses when working with their broad range of clients. They’ve produced unique experiential marketing trivia events for companies wishing to improve brand recognition, develop teambuilding, reward their employees or train a new sales staff.
