PRESS RELEASE: TrivWorks Announces New Bell House Trivia Event

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

AUGUST 15, 2012

New York, New York – Pub trivia nights, co-sponsored by the Bell House and TrivWorks, a firm specializing in experiential marketing in NYC, have become a Brooklyn fixture, offering community building entertainment to sell out crowds.  In April of this year they instituted a 90’s theme trivia night focusing on pop culture from that decade.  The house was packed again for the June 28 edition, hosted by Pat Kiernan, the popular NY1 morning news anchor.  Attendees rocked to the sounds of 90’s music, munched on mouth-watering Belgian waffles and competed over questions ranging from 90’s movie flops, big names in culture and period TV theme songs.

The Bell House has been the site of a variety of TrivWorks hosted events over the past several months including the uproariously funny Designing Women vs. Golden Girls evening held in June to coincide with Brooklyn Pride Week.  Their success has earned the Bell House events the designation of “hottest new trivia night” by Time Out New York.

Looking for some excitement earlier in the week?  TrivWorks and The Social Bar and Grill located in Times Square offer Monday night trivia events in midtown.  Exciting entertainment and friendly competition are accompanied by great food and beer offered at happy hour prices throughout the evening.

TrivWorks is the only firm to focus exclusively on trivia events for teambuilding, corporate entertainment and experiential marketing in NYC.  Clients come from a broad spectrum of the business community and include non-profits, educational institutions, local businesses and national corporations.  They specialize in providing effective activities which accomplish the client’s goals with humor and on budget.

Customized events can be designed to engage your current clients and to attract new customers from your market segment.  Trivia games focus on relationship marketing and are designed to include specific material about your firm, products and benefits mixed in with pop culture, history and current events.  These have proven highly effective in building customer loyalty and improving brand awareness, and many satisfied clients have made TrivWorks an important part of their annual marketing plan.

Do you have a topic preference for a fun-filled evening of trivia?  TrivWorks invites community participation in choosing the theme of the Bell House / Kiernan pub quiz nights.  For August they teamed with Gothamist to solicit votes for the theme of the August 21, 2012 event. Choices included Summer Trivia, 15 Minutes of Fame, the 80’s and NYC on Camera.  The winning topic is “15 Minutes of Fame”, a rollicking look at the greatest pop culture fads and one-hit wonders.  Tickets sell out quickly, so interested parties should order online before it’s too late.
