NEWS! TrivWorks to Present at SporcleCon 2025

Some exciting news to share: TrivWorks will be presenting at this year’s SporcleCon in Chicago next month!

Billed as the country’s largest annual trivia gathering, SporcleCon brings together quizzing enthusiasts from almost every state to enjoy a weekend of competition, socialization and celebration of knowledge. Presented by Sporcle, a trivia and pub quiz Website with a massive usership of quiz enthusiasts, this is sure to be a gathering like no other!

As part of the weekend’s agenda, I am honored to have been invited to represent TrivWorks in two programs: a panel discussion, and leading a team trivia event. Brief descriptions of both are below:

Panel Discussion: The Business of Trivia

In this exciting and highly unique program, I will be joined by several other trivia company owners and event professionals as we discuss the business side of the trivia industry. This will explore such topics as starting a trivia-based business, hosting/producing corporate events vs public, marketing, hiring and more. I’m pretty excited about this panel, since what those of us participating do is pretty unique in the entertainment industry. I’m looking forward to hearing different perspectives and approaches to running a trivia company, as well as to sharing what I’ve learned after almost 20 years of doing this professionally!

TrivWorks Social/Networking Break

SporcleCon weekend is packed with high-stakes competitions between the smartest people around; I’ll probably be the only guy there who isn’t a past Jeopardy! champion. Since what I do is geared specifically towards corporate event entertainment and team building, we’ve developed a special low-stakes “break” that’s designed to be purely fun and social. Showcasing the various trivia formats TrivWorks offers (roving, team and 1-on-1, as well as select interstitial games between rounds), I’m thrilled to be personally emceeing a trivia networking event for SporcleCon attendees, intended to spark conversation, build community and create memories!
