Two TrivWorks Friends on National TV Tomorrow: Pat Kiernan & Tony Muia!

Tomorrow, March 7th is an extremely big day for two quintessential New Yorkers who are extremely good friends of TrivWorks – both of whom will be appearing on national television!

First, TrivWorks “Special Host” Pat Kiernan will be guest co-hosting Live! With Kelly! Announced just last week in advance of Pat hosting our second sold-out “Why We Love NYC” trivia night at The Bell House in Brooklyn, Pat’s appearance with Kelly is tremendously exciting indeed!

For 15 years, New Yorkers have enjoyed Pat’s smart & cheery wake-up as NY1’s morning news anchor, made extra-special not just with his sharp wit and dry humor, but his “In The Papers” feature where he adds his own colorful commentary to the news of the day. Spun off online in 2009 with the launch of Pat’s Papers, tomorrow a national audience will get to see firsthand just how good Pat is reading the newspapers to a live audience, as well as why he is such a beloved television newsman here in the Big Apple.

Pat has made no secret of his desire to be the new permanent co-host of Live! ever since Regis Philbin announced his departure from the show last January, and we wish him the very best of luck tomorrow on what will no doubt be an incredibly fun, engaging and memorable appearance!

Then later tomorrow evening, our good friend Tony Muia, founder of A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour (voted Brooklyn’s #1 tour by TripAdvisor) will be debuting his new show “Slice of Brooklyn” on The Travel Channel!

Tony has been a personal friend of mine for years, and his pizza tour is simply the most authentic, enjoyable and of course delicious way one can discover the Borough of Kings – so much so that we included it as a “quintessential NYC experience” prize at our recent NYC-themed trivia events! His reality-type show transports Tony, his friends and family from the neighborhood (including Fat Sal, Uncle Louie, Cousin Paula & Frankie Pancakes) and in fact the entire borough into living rooms nationwide, and is sure to be a huge hit!
