Everything You Need to Know About Pat Kiernan’s 7/24 “Summer Slam” Trivia Night
In exactly one week, TrivWorks will be returning to The Bell House in Brooklyn to produce New York City’s largest trivia event – our highly-anticipated “Pat Kiernan’s Summer Slam” on July 24th!
For those who have never been to one of TrivWorks’ mega public trivia nights, here’s everything you need to know:
What time does it start? – Doors are at 7pm, with a 7:30pm event start
What time does it end? – We aim to wrap up at aprx. 9:30pm
Am I guaranteed a seat? – Please note, The Bell House is a mixed seating/standing venue – as such, we encourage you to arrive early for best seating options (we will also be piping in the audio into the Front Lounge)
Are tickets still available? – Yes! However, our events always sell out – advance ticket purchase strongly recommended!
What is the format of the evening? – Pat will be announcing multiple rounds of trivia questions to the entire room, with each round having a specific summer pop culture theme
Do I need to be part of a team, or can I play alone? The event is intended to be a team trivia contest, so please arrive with your team. If you are planning to attend on your own, we will gladly help you find you a team of nice people to join
How many people can be on a team? – To keep the event as fair as possible, we are limiting team sizes to 8 people. Conversely, to help make the event run smoothly and efficiently, we are encouraging smaller teams to join forces, to create what Pat likes to call a “trivia powerhouse”
Do we need a team name? – Yes! You will be required to submit your team name immediately upon arrival, so please give it some thought in advance (funny team names strongly encouraged)
What about those 1-on-1 “mini games” we heard about? – Everyone in attendance will receive one raffle ticket for the chance to go onstage with Pat for 1-on-1 trivia
Is cheating allowed? – No.
Will there be food? – Yes! Brooklyn’s own Daly Pie will be on hand selling their delicious hand pies – the perfect summer treat, you’ll love them!
What are the prizes? – We will be announcing our prizes shortly – however, you can expect to see a huge trove of both theme-appropriate giveaways and fun summer events around the city!
